Aw, shucks, Randall. Very valiant try with the poor little bird. Sorry he/she didn’t make it.
The photos are beautiful! I especially like the one of the lake with the trees and clouds in the background. Thanks for catching us up little-by-little to the events prior to your Atlantic crossing, and I’m also greatly looking forward to hearing about your European adventures.
Sweet of you to say so, Linda; indeed, I was fairly attached, and enjoyed having a pet so very much that I might have to find another, either a kitten or a falcon—I haven’t decided.
France has been fully enjoyable, but today we’re on to England by ferry from Calais. But only with a good inventory of French wine and bread, to tide us over in that gustatory desert.
So great to hear of all your adventures. The tale of the baby bird is so sweet- I’m terribly sorry that it didn’t make it.
Thanks for all of the wonderful blog posts- so cool to follow your journey from your personal accounts and photos. You both are in our prayers here in the US.
Best of luck and enjoy that French bread! ;)
